British band Coldplay created a huge buzz online when tickets for their Mumbai concerts went on sale through BookMyShow on Sunday. However, fans were disappointed when the website crashed just minutes before tickets could be bought, and they sold out almost instantly. Over 11 lakh people ended up on the waitlist.
Coldplay is set to perform at the DY Patil Sports Stadium in Navi Mumbai on January 18 and 19, 2025. Due to high demand, a third show was added on January 21, but many fans still couldn’t get tickets. Angry fans took to X (formerly Twitter) to accuse BookMyShow of cheating.
