Abhishek Kumar, from a small village in Bihar’s Jamui district, has secured a record-breaking salary of Rs 2.07 crore from Google and will start working at their London office in October. A graduate of NIT Patna, Abhishek thanked his parents and older brother for their support. He said, “Getting this job at Google is a huge milestone, and I’m excited to move to London.”
Becoming a software engineer has always been his dream, and landing a job at Google is a major achievement. Abhishek explained that preparing for the Google interview was tough, as he had to study after working 8-9 hours each day. He focused on coding and behavioral questions, and believes that consistency and discipline helped him succeed.
Before Google, Abhishek worked at Amazon from August 2022 to March 2023, and then at a German investment bank. Now, he’s preparing for his new role at Google.
Abhishek encouraged students from small towns to believe in themselves, saying that with hard work, anyone can achieve great things. His father, Indradev Yadav, is a lawyer, and his mother, Manju Devi, is a homemaker. Abhishek is the youngest of two brothers.
